As we know the next first of July there are going to be carried out the presidential elections, where many young people will express its vote for the first time, but before they select a candidate to support, they must know their  proposals and analyze who of these presents a better idea against the opponents. It is necessary to emphasize that the people already don’t trust in the political parties, but this it is another topic.

The proposals of the candidates there aren’t absent the topics that affect to Mexicans in a daily way, some of theme might be: insecurity, poverty, unemployment, corruption, lack of education, drug addiction, between others.
But this time we will focus on a topic that has now led the populations too much the latter years: Security.

The candidates who will analyze the following work are those it cause major controversy in the country, in which we find the following prominent figures:
Andrés Manuel López Obrador (Morena) , José Antonio Meade (PRI), y Ricardo Anaya Cortés (PAN).




Security.

We can define security as the guarantee of being free from harm, threat, danger or risk; it is a need to feel protected, against everything that may disturb or threaten your physical, moral, social and even economic integrity.

The Criminal Traffic Lights organization described 2017 as “ The worst” year for public security in the past 20 years in Mexico.
Drugs represent 70% of the reason of the violence wave and Mexico is movilized at the great failure of security strategies.

  • Face organized crime. Implement a strategy to combat security with respect for human rights.

  • Implement the so-called Mixed Police Command, in which only a higher level police corp may intervene in the states and municipalities determined by a specific technical body.
  • Creation of  the Ministry of Public Security.
  • Explore alternative penalties to prison, including community work for a certain type of non-violent crime.

  • Form a security corps formed by police and military forces, for which, he explained, no reform is required because it is established in the Constitution.
  • More resources will be allocated for police training
  • Remove weapons and money to criminals.

  • Hear the demands on security and justice of Mexicans.

  • Better train ment of security officers.

To achieve the safety of the citizenship, it is also necessary for the candidates to focus in other topics that affect it directly, like: Education, poverty and unemployment.

Education

  • Apply an educational model that is adaptable to technology.

  • An educational model that increases resources for research and innovation.
  • The education will be free at all levels.

  • Guarantee to all young people the right to education and scholarships.
  • Nurseries, preschools and primaries with extended hours with food, to support their full incorporation into productive activities.




Poverty

According to figures from the National Council on the Evaluation of the Public Policy of Social Development (CONEVAL), more than 43% of the Mexicans were in a situation of poorness.

The proposals to eradicate this problem are :

  • Creation of the Universal Basic Income,to give money to people in need and increase the minimum wage to 187 pesos per day.
  • Low the salaries of those of above, starting with the president wages, and increase the perceptions of those at the bottom: Teachers, nurses, doctors, police officers, soldiers an another ones of the lower wage levels increasing their income.

  • Reduce inequality and poverty by strengthening the family economy.






Unemployment.

  • The program "Young people building the future" will be created, which will serve two million 600 thousand young people, who currently can not study or who do not have a job.
  • To eliminate unemployment, it aims to strengthen the domestic market so that the national economy becomes more dynamic, a virtuous circle is created and well-paid jobs are generated.
  • While there are no clear proposals to combat unemployment, there are proposals regarding wages, for example: dignify wages to be fair and without gender distinction; "to equal work, equal reward".
